All pools include a starter kit with safety A Frame Ladder, sand filter, pump, filter hoses and fittings, starter chemical kit, test kit, thermometer, vacuum head, telescoping vacuum pole, leaf skimmer, vacuum hose, and brush. Please contact us for additional accessory options and pricing.
We include an appropriately sized sand filter and pump. We recommend sand filters for ease of use by the consumer. There are many types of filtration systems available for you, should you prefer something different.
Depending on the pool shape and size, the pools are pre-cut in one corner for pump and filter installation. Our pool packages allow your pump and filter to be installed within nine to twelve feet of one corner. Longer hoses available if you'd like to place the pump and filter further away from the pool.
Of course, we deliver within our territory and servicable area.
While most customers install the Splash Superpools themselves, we will deliver and install within our territory and servicable area. Installation prices are not included in our pool package pricing, as every installation is different. Please contact us for a free backyard visit and no obligation quote.
From start to finish Splash Superpools typically are setup within two hours, assuming the ground is prepared and level. This includes all the fittings, pump and filter, ladder, and all accessories.
We recommend two people for setup. Most of the installation can be done with one person, it is helpful to have a second set of hands when you go to stand the pool up. Larger sized pools are heavier and a third person is helpful to pull the wall up on setup.
Splash Superpools are designed to go up on any level surface. Simply rid the ground of any sharp objects. If your installation will be permanent we advise removing the sod and replacing with a few inches of sand. While most above ground pools require this as part of their installation, we simply recommend it for your comfort as you enjoy your Splash Superpool (it will be softer on your feet).
Many of our customers use the money they save by purchasing a Splash Pool, to add a deck, rock wall and/or water feature around their pool. You will need to build a retaining wall to keep the earth from affecting your installation. Please visit our photo gallery to find creative ideas for your pool and surrounding landscape.
Yes, a few years ago the northeast received an overabundance of snow. The traditional metal wall pools either collapsed or blew apart under the weight of the snow. That is when we decided to sell Splash SuperPools. The membrane liner allows flexibility as the ground may shift and move with snow loads, ice formation and thawing, as well as ground movement.
No, the durable polyester cord heavily reinforced membrane liner is specially coated to protect from UV light, mildew, fungi, and from dirt attaching to exposed areas.
You can syphon the water into the ground or as far away from the pool as necessary. If you are in a residential area, many people find street drains to drain the water. There are several options for chemical maintenance that are both non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Chemicals will dissipate over a period of time, so that if and when you drain your pool, you can allow those chemicals to dissipate prior to drainage.
We recommend very basic weekly treatments. Chlorine systems are the most commonly used. There are many alternatives to chlorine that are both non-toxic and environmentally safe. Whether you go with an automatic system or chlorine free system, we can accomodate your needs.
Our pools are designed to be as low maintenance as possible. We recommend weekly testing and treatment of the water. We recommend that you circulate your pool (pump & filter) ten to twelve hours a day. To make it easier, install a timer (can be purchased at most hardware stores) and program it to circulate when you'd like. Many of our customers purchase an automatic pool cleaner that runs off the pump and filter system, it does the work so you don't have to! |
